Week 8: Project 365/

OK, boring week...kinda hard when its almost dark after you and the kids get home from work. I love this project but I'm getting a bit bored with it. I think when I get them all in an album, it'll give me more drive. When the warm weather hits us...someday...it will be a bit more fun too! I even took extra pics around the house today because I didn't think I had enough, but I actually did!
Sun, Feb 15: Omitted. Took an adorable pics of my kids' tooshies waiting for their bath to fill. Sorry, but I won't post pics like that on the internet...but it IS an adorable pic!

Mon, Feb 16: I took the day off of work since my kids didn't have school. I had to take Aydan to an appointment, which was so conveniently next door to my favorite store, Archivers.

Tues, Feb 17: Had to stop at the store after work and staring right at me when I walked in was a half dozen box of Paczkies! Yum! They are polish donuts that are around just before lent. Pronounced "Punch-keys".

Wed, Feb 19: Kendall had this balloon arrangement for her birthday party. Well Aydan somehow took the weight off of it and they got to our ceiling...the problem, our ceiling is 20 feet in the family room and we were afraid of it getting tangled around the fan. Ozan had to reach over the loft railing to get her down. And he's like why are you taking pics of me doing this? I think its funny because Tinkerbell is really flying now.
Thurs, Feb 19: This is typical Aydan after school...running right for the pantry or fridge for a snack. I swear if it was up to my kids, they would just have snacks all day without meals! And when he's hungry, he's fussy. And he only wants junk stuff...which I have to hide sometimes!
Fri, Feb 20: This is also typical Kendall stuff...hanging her art stuff from school on her walls. She helps herself to tape and hangs them up. I really want to get her a big corkboard for her room...just haven't found one yet. That butterfly has googly eyes with eyelashes on them. I love her art!
Sat, Feb 21: I just bought the kids new sneakers this fall and they are already worn out! So Ozan wanted to order some new ones from Zappos. We printed out a measuring chart, measured their feet and realized that they wear the same size! Both wear 10.5 in toddler. Mind you, Kendall is 6 and Aydan is 3. She (on the left) has tiny, tiny little feet. And his (on the right) are huge! LOL! Notice the black and white pic? I'm going to make one pic a week black and white. Saw this idea on another blog and I loved it...adds a bit of change to it.

Oh and I made a bunch of cards this week...this is a complete lift from Betsy Valdman. Her cards are so detailed, unique, and fun! I couldn't help but make a set of these cards. I made matching vellum envelopes as well. Took out my embossing gun...which is always fun...for the damask stamp and the sentiments as well. I used some white craft ink from Stampin Up to make the white embossing powder a bit stronger. These were fun...not even close to the standards of Betsy. And my damask stamp is smaller than hers but I didn't have one like that.

Patterned Paper: Basic Grey
Stamps: Stampin Up and Inkadinkakoo
Ink: Stampin Up
Embossing Powder: Ranger

Carla I feel the same way!! This week I didn't take as many pics & feel sort of un-motivated. Think it helps if they're all in the album. Hopefully they'll be here soon....fingers still crossed!

I'm jealous that you have an Archiver's near you--that would be Nirvana to me!! LOVED the pic of the kids feeties! Funny they're the same size!!
