Yesterday, our friends Carmen and George got married and today they are on their way to Maui! They are so in love! George kept their honeymoon plans a secret and announced it during the toasts at the reception. We had a great time dancing all night, but we are TIRED today!!!
Congrats again George and Carmen! So when can we expect little ones?? LOL!

Go Bears

Ok, I'd guess I call myself a fan, but I'm not too big on watching the game on a weekly basis. Its much more exciting than baseball! If you didn't hear, the Bears had quite the victory last night against Arizona. Ozan already talking about going to the superbowl. First of all, he'll never get tickets. Second of all, there is no way he's spending that much money on a ticket. And last, we don't know if we are going yet. But we can hope!

Its a simple solution when its game day: Bears Win=Happy Husband=Happy Wife...LOL!!
Every game day Ozan dresses in his Payton jersey, Aydan in his Urlacher jersey, and Kendall in her Bears cheerleader uniform!

I had my 20 year HS reunion last night. What a night! I got lost trying to find the place, there was not a street sign so I wasn't sure were I was at, then cops were blocking the street and we had no power at the hall for 2 hours! Too funny! It was hard recognizing some people. I didn't get home until 2:30 and my kids were up at 7 this morning. Monday morning is going to be tough! I didn't take too many pics. It was kind of dark and I was so engrossed in talking that pictures were a bit tough. I was getting a little giddy and starting taking pics of myself.

...oh and here are some pics from our ten year reunion. Ten years ago, that's too crazy!!

Don, my stepfather, just emailed me some pics from Aydan's party. I never took any pics of the bouncer we rented. I figured since I paid for it, I might as well have fun. So some of the other adults joined in...we almost hurt the kiddies. I'll tell you one thing, after 5 minutes we were spent! This picture is me and my sister, Chrissy, having a blast on it. I'm so excited because I just got an email that one of the biggest scrapbook companies published one of my pages on their gallery website. Totally Kendall

I took this pic this evening because it just captures Kendall's personality so much...swinging high on her swing, with her shirt on backwards and inside out, and her hair in her mouth. Ah, my baby girl and her little quirks, that's one thing I love about her...out of a million things.
And yes, I can feel summer slipping away. Its time to start planning Halloween. Have a good Friday everyone.

Eve of First B-Day

Tonight is the eve of Aydan's first b-day, so I had to do a photo shoot. I cannot believe that he'll have his first b-day tomorrow. We're going to get him a cake and let him have at it!! I definitely will post some pics of that. I'm taking the day off of work tomorrow and we're going to spend the day together!!

First Day of Pre-School

Kendall started her very first day of pre-school today at her Daddy's work...how awesome is that? We both took her in this morning and picked her up but Daddy will be doing that himself from now on. She had a good time and even fell asleep in the car...bless her little heart.

"A Little Reunion"

So, I had quite the reunion today with 2 of my friends from my HS days. Wes and Sheila, and Sheila's husband, Chad, came over and we sat outside in my backyard and talked for hours on end! I hadn't seen Sheila for like 17 years. Wes and I got back in touch 10 years ago. We all had a great time and got caught up on old times. Kendall got tons of piggyback rides from Chad. I posted some pics!

My Brother

My brother, Mike, is in London right now on business and was supposed to come back to Minneapolis but due to the circumstances of this terror plot, he has to stay until Monday. I know he's OK, but thank God they caught the terrorists. I'm still worried...I'm his big sister. He flies all the time, so he's not nervous at all.
